PASSOVER 2009 IN SEMINOLE OKLAHOMA![]() |
We are pleased to host Passover this year in Seminole OK. It will be a Passover like none other as we look to transition from the focus of the First Exodus to our focus on the Greater Exodus to come. Four nights of worship filled meetings will be followed by the main event of Passover together under the tent of meeting. The days will be filled with times of worship as well as hands-on preparedness training in subjects such as knot tying, soap making, first aid and much more. There will be day classes for children 11 and under in which they will learn how to milk a goat and make butter from fresh milk they got right from the source. |
The spirit of the camp is hands-on servant hood. Each person in attendance will be assigned duties in kitchen and cleanup. Parents with children in the children's program will be expected to help out in one of their daily teachings. |
Our meeting dates will be set when the New Moon is seen in Israel. We expect the evening of the 10th of Nisan to be on April 5th or 6th. Dates will be published as soon as the moon is sighted. This will make the evening of Passover the 9th or 10th of April. This will make registration check in the afternoon of April 5th or 6th with our first meeting that evening. Camp tear down will be the day following Passover evening. If this is the year the Exodus begins...well, just come prepared! The day of Passover will be an exciting one as the day begins with worship and teaching. In the afternoon we will begin to roast the lambs as we anticipate the evening events. Each person needs to come with shoes on their feet and a staff in their hand as we will eat our meal in haste. No chairs will be provided. Each family is to bring blankets and pillows to recline on the ground as we eat. |
Tent camping will be the order of the day for this Passover, but motor homes and trailers are allowed. We will not have power or water hook ups, so keep that in mind. Tank clean out can be arranged if needed. We will provide shower facilities as well as portable toilets. For those who choose, the following motels are within a 5 minute drive of our property.
