"To teach the Hebraic perspective of faith in and obedience to the

One True Elohim."

I grew up in a Southern Baptist Church. Through the years, I have been part of Nazarene, Assembly of God and Charismatic Churches. Each church was different, but they all had one statement of doctrine in common, "The Law (Torah) is done away with." Could we have been misled in this?

The first five books of Scripture are known as the Torah. The common used definition "Law" is probably the worst definition possible. A closer definition would be "Instructions for righteous living." My favorite definition is from a Jewish friend in Jerusalem, "Torah is the expressed will of God unto mankind."

A further quote from the book,"Accessing Inner Joy" by Moshe Kempinski:

"The Torah was not given to a perfect people nor was it designed to make them a perfect people. The Torah was designed to make them a holy people that could reveal G-d's name. The Torah would make them into the very language of G-d, and this people would find direction, purpose and comfort in the words that would guide their voyage."

Look through the following verses, then consider the question posed at the end.

Genesis 2:15-17 Instructions to Adam and Eve.

Deuteronomy 30:15-16 Torah is life.

Deuteronomy 30:11 Torah is not too hard.

Deuteronomy 33:2-4 Torah is part of your inheritance.

Joshua 1:6-9 Torah will direct you to His promises.

Psalm 119 Torah used 24 times by, "The man after God's own heart".

Proverbs 28:4 Torah is the line between righteousness and evil.

Proverbs 28:9 Without obedience to Torah our prayers are an abomination.

Mal 4:4 We are not to forget Torah.

Matt 5:17 We are not to think Torah has been abolished.

Matt 5:19 Torah observance separates greatest from least in His Kingdom.

Acts 21:20 Torah was the way of life for early disciples.

Romans 7:7-12 Torah tells us what sin is.

IJohn 3:3-5 Violation of Torah is SIN!

Rev 12:17 Obedience to Torah makes the enemy mad. GOOD!

Rev 20:4 Torah may cost you your head, but will win His heart.

Isaiah 2 Torah is the law for The Millennium.

Isaiah 66:23 Torah is eternal.

Please allow me to ask a question in light of the above verses. Are the instructions of Torah really done away with or have we been tricked into thinking that so as to keep us from Father's heart and blessings?

Psalm 119:11 God desires His word hidden upon our hearts.

Jeremiah 31:32 God desires to write Torah on our hearts.

Deuteronomy 17:18 Write on paper and on heart.
